Greetings people. Sorry it's been a good long while since I've hit the blogging circuit. My mom came in town for Mother's Day, so I took the high road and instead of blogging, I decided to hang out with my sister and her. Thanks for understanding! Here's the low down on what happened in the weekend.

My mom arrived on Friday and we were able to hang and have a good time. We went out shopping for Mother's Day and I bought her a couple of shirts for an outing she is going to have soon, so that was fun. We also went to Bambino's, the local Italian hot spot of delight and goodness. This was a joint family excursion as Rachel's family came also. It's kind of weird to think that both of our families are going to one big family. WOW! My mom and sister were able to come to church on Sunday, so that made for a great day. It's so fun to have people you know and love see you do your thing. It provides great perspective for them as well as being a fulfilling experience for me. Her Mother's day meal was tri trip from the Harter House. It was some of the best steak I have ever had. But with 2.6 pds to cook, it was a little rare on the inside after 40 minutes of cooking. Oh well. Win some, l0se some. Leftovers! We then went to the future in-laws house and had some cheesecake and coffee. It's really refreshing to have Rachel and I's families get along so well. How much would it stink if they didn't?! Mom and sister left this morning and it was great to see the fam again. Overall, I say weekends was good. Check the blog below for more stuff.
