DROPPED SOCKS & ESPANOL

Today, I found myself brushing up on some old skills. To set the stage, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to laundry. Not that I don't do laundry often or that I don't enjoy to (matter of fact, it's quite the opposite). I have two dryers at my house. Both are broken and don't quite dry adequately. Seeing as I'm not Mr. Fix It, I still have two dryers that don't quite dry adequately. This week, on top of a broken air conditioner, Jack and I found that we have a drainage pipe that won't quite get de-clogged no matter how much draino. This inhibits the washing process because the drain overflows and spills on the kitchen floor (Jack and I each found this out). This makes the cleaning process very long.

Today I decided to take the laundry to a laundry mat. More washers (and jumbo ones). More dryers (also jumbo). This made for a shorter laundry run. However, do to the amount of laundry I had, getting them outside was a couple of trips in the making. On one trip, I dropped a sock and a very kind lady picked it up for me. Before I left, I made sure to send says thanks and tell her how I should have done laundry earlier. Only one issue, she speaks Spanish. Good thing I took 6 years in junior high and high school. I think she was surprised too! It's not every day the gringo with spikey hair comes and raps some espanol to you. That's why it's fun. I was able to laugh along with jokes and have fun with some of the dialogue. All the while, they thought they were getting away with it. MWUAHAHAHA.
