There are few bands on the planet that I don't need to listen to their latest endeavor before buying. I'm picky when it comes to music (though I love a lot of it), and if I can't see myself listening to it for a long time, then it probably won't happen. Sigur Ros is one of those bands. No matter what they put out, I know it's going to be dynamic. It has been said they are the greatest band in the world. Take a listen to what they are putting out and you may agree. Then again, you may not. If you don't, you don't like music or Icelandic people. Either way, there has to be something wrong with you. Something about the ambient music not only helps me relax but also helps me read the Bible, write sermons and love Jesus. Call me crazy.
