EXOTHERMIC & ENDOTHERMIC

Most of you when seeing the title have some bad thoughts about something that happened to you in junior high or high school. This is an observation I've been able to make in relation to my new marriage. It seems that Rachel and I have two different responses to heat. Rachel has an exothermic reaction. She puts out heat like she is finding an alternative energy. You add flannel sheets to the mix and that makes for one hot night. By doing so, she is unable to stay warm. It's the strangest thing. She is incredibly hot (both physically and physically...) but she feels cold. I don't know what the deal is. I am much more endothermic. I keep my heat to myself but am always hot. Last night made it so I was trying to get out from underneath the covers and Rachel is trying to get as much as she can. This is something we covered in pre-marital counseling. I love being married! It's the greatest transition one can make.
