THE INTERNET IS AWESOME

For a long time, I've known the internet is awesome and enjoyed it as such. Though, anyone who is a product of internet in the 90s can attest to the fact that where we are in computing and the internet is far greater today than it was back then (need I remind you of this).
I can remember my first uses of Twitter and how everyone asked:
"What's the point?"
"What's different than Facebook?"
"What will you talk about?"
"Have you said you've gone to the bathroom or what you've eaten yet?"
Their wittiness has yet to be matched. This week, the use of the internet, but more specifically Twitter, proved it's worth.
I've been working through some of our systems within the Student Ministry and one of the key areas being that of our Guest Services / First Time Impressions. Up to this point, we have had very limited interaction but have continued to develop anymore. Then I put the internet to use. This week I had conversations with the following Youth Pastors that helped us begin to refine some of our systems. Big thanks to all of them.
Stephen Dickey - Youth Pastor at Fuse* Columbia Campus, New Spring Church, Anderson, SC
Jason Laird - Youth Pastor at Epic, Healing Place Church, Baton Rouge, LA
Brian Cromer - Youth Pastor at Revolution, Northchurch.tv, Oklahoma City, OK
Nate Derenski - Youth Pastor at The Switch, Church on Fire, Cincinnati, OH
Joseph Kellogg - Youth Pastor at Seven, The Oaks, Dallas, TX
Jon Brown - Youth Pastor at H20, Kenosha First Assembly, Kenosha, WI
DC Curry - Youth Pastor at GSM, Granger Community Church, Granger, IN
Chris Smith - Youth Pastor at Epic, Peoples Church, Oklahoma City, OK
The astounding part about this is that I've only met two of these guys in person. Yet, I was able to ask of each of them for some help and get more in a matter of moments than I would have been able to do with years of research. Again, I'm thankful to each of these guys for taking time to answer some of my questions.
