The last weekend in October through the third week in July is an interesting time for me. theBURN has two big events in the year, Summer Camp (usually 3rd week in July) and 210 (third weekend in October). Beginning in January and ending in October, my life is filled with planning, scheduling, reserving, packing, organizing and everything else that comes with taking a group of 70 students somewhere. There is an interim period that I absolutely love! In between these times I get a chance to be refreshed, think about the future, dedicate HUGE amounts of time to bettering how we doing things in the youth ministry. I'm really excited about some new thoughts that are on my mind about how to advance the cause of 12-18 year olds and how to have more effective ministry with them. It's going to be a good time. More to come in this arena for those of you who are in ministry and want to glean off each other.
