THE WORST MOVIE EVER

I like to think that I'm an open critic to movies. I even think that I would be open to seeing anything (barring the moral level of it doesn't get out of hand). For those of us who have seen movies like Sin City (turned it off) and 300, anything Frank Miller makes looks to be pretty promising. And when you see a trailer like this, you think more of the same.

Considering it was PG-13, I figured I would be able to avoid all the parts of the other movies that made me turn them off or not enjoy them as much. However, this movie is horrible! No even mildly horrible like some people could appreciate it. No, the only people who enjoy this movie after they review are either a little off (not due to content but due to quality) or are getting paid by Lionsgate to promote. The acting is no good, or present at all. A plot is no existent (and I thought James Bond was bad), though that may be due to the fact that the actors don't seem to think much of making a movie or character development. To prove my point, think of this. At one point, Samuel L. Jackson's character "Octopus" dresses up like a Nazi with a gigantic picture of Hitler and swazticas in the back. WHAT IN THE WORLD?! Guys throw toilets, sinks, huge wrenches, pipes and anything else while fighting in an oil field (of which they can see and breathe underneath). The company I was with (Buz and Evan) thought of walking. I had to see how it ended...we should have walked. Final synopsis, DO NOT GO SEE THE SPIRIT!

The Spirit : F+ (only because Samuel L. Jackson when dressed as a Nazi yells "Achtung!" and it made me laugh really hard.
