AND THEN I WAS ATTACKED

Tonight, most blogs around the country are going to be filled with thoughts about the game. Either that or it will be filled with moments like these :
Do I love that baby?! You bet I do! Did I love the game today? You know it. Did Rachel, her family and I jump off the couch when Larry Fitzgerald scored his touchdown? Yes we did. Did we sulk when the Steelers won? Uh huh. Did a dog jump out and attack me? Yes..WHAT THE CRAP?! How does a night end like that?!!! Here is how it went down :
Getting out of my car, I noticed the dog that lives behind my house. Two nights ago, they were calling for their dog since he had escaped and called to no avail. I thought it would be great to be able to lead the dog home. It's the animal lover in me. The dog wasn't having it. So I walked over to their house to let them and they could have cared less. When the response you get is "he'll come back. He's just being a []", it doesn't make for a friendly exchange. I felt bad for the dog and walked off. As I turned the corner, guess who was there? Said dog. As we rounded the corner at the same time, the dog (which is Rox's size) growled and made the lunge. Not knowing how far this may make it and how PETA may respond to an event like this, I treated that dog like a human being who lunged at me at the dark while coming around the corner. He didn't lunge again and quickly returned to his house. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?! What a night! Here's to the Superbowl and violence occurring at my home.
